Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source furniture production, materials, finishes, and equipment
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and vendors
- Manage inventory, shipments, and deliveries to ensure timelines are met
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and availability
- Oversee logistics of product transportation, warehousing, and installation schedules
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documentation
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Work closely with the design team to ensure materials align with design goals
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the design industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Knowledge of interior design materials, suppliers, and industry trends is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
