Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all aspects of logistics of equipment and products associated with OS are shipped and received in a timely manner and have met all rules, laws, and regulations of Nigeria.
• Shipments of glasses from Vendors to Nigeria
• Shipments of vision center equipment from Vendors to Nigeria.
• Shipment of lab equipment from vendors to Nigeria.
• Shipments of eyeglasses from the hub to access points
• Return shipments to the vendors of any product or equipment
• Management of warehouse including cleanliness, organization, and accuracy.
• Participation in virtual calls and logistics touch base calls.
• Active planning, execution, and participation in Vision Center Launches
• Ensure all equipment needed for any vision center or lab launch has been received and shipped to the vision center in order to meet all deadlines.
• Create a spare parts replenishment system for all equipment
• Create a regular planned inventory of all equipment and consumables
• Audit the stockroom monthly and provide feedback to the lab team regarding accuracy and organization

Requirements:

• Good verbal and written communication skills to direct employees and prepare reports for upper management.
• Should have the ability to act decisively to resolve problems.
• Must have the skills to perform any of the duties in the warehouse.
• Should have strong interpersonal skills to motivate and instruct fellow employees.
• 2+ years of Logistics experience with a proven record of accomplishment of success in quality and productivity.
• 2+ years of customs compliance and clearance experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or any supply chain-related course
• Ability and/or experience in using computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to speak English.
• Ability to be self-motivated and high level of time-management.
• Ability to demand forecast.
• Valid drivers license for both manual and automatic vehicles
