This role is to design, develop, and take responsibility for the installation of ship machinery and related equipment including propulsion machines and power supply systems.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Inspect equipment and machinery to draw up work requests and job specifications
- Oversee the testing, installation, and repair of equipment
- Inspect repair work in progress as well as sea trialing vessels after completion of repairs to ensure adequacy of the work
- Conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on machinery and equipment
- Maintain records of engineering department activities including expense records and details of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Assistance to Wire Line and Well Head Departments
- Procure materials needed to repair equipment and machinery.
- Examine the reliability and integrity of vessels looking at their seaworthiness, safety, and maintenance
- Responsible for the management of all planned maintenance tasks and also unscheduled repairs that may be required for the company’s equipment
- Operation of cranes and swab pump onboard.
- Supervise other engineers and crewmembers and train them for routine and emergency duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as a maintenance engineer or similar field
- HND/BSc. in any Engineering related field of study is a plus
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
