Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, including engineers and supervisors, by conducting performance reviews, initiating training, and ensuring workforce productivity.
• Plan and schedule aircraft maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Manage daily operations of the maintenance department, including job allocations, overtime control, quote approvals, and customer communications.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery by adhering to safety, tool control, and job completion standards.
• Maintain optimal departmental capabilities by ensuring adequate training, tooling, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve job stoppers and improve turnaround times.
• Improve customer satisfaction through proactive engagement, timely feedback, and post-maintenance reviews.
• Monitor and manage departmental financial performance including revenue targets, job margins, and cost control.
• Evaluate and improve maintenance processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure proper coordination with relevant stakeholders and provide regular progress reports.

Requirements:

• Relevant Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) licenses
• Relevant Managerial or Business Management qualification (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Minimum of 5 years as a Manager in the Aircraft/Aviation industry
• Minimum of 5 years as a Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airframe)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strategic thinking and planning
• Attention to detail and structured problem-solving
• Familiarity with aircraft maintenance scheduling, SBs, ADs, CAMP, and Quantum system
• Knowledge of financial principles and margin tracking
• Customer-centric and results-driven mindset
• Compliance-driven with strong organizational skills
