Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparation: Measuring and combining ingredients according to recipes. Preparing and managing doughs, batters, and mixes.
- Baking: Operating and maintaining ovens and other baking equipment. Monitoring temperatures and baking times to ensure perfect results.
- Decoration: Decorating cakes, pastries, and other products as needed. Using techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping for presentation.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all products meet quality standards in taste, texture, and appearance. Maintaining consistency in recipes and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels of ingredients and equipment. Placing orders to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Health and Safety: Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the baking area. Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Innovation: Experimenting with new recipes or modifying existing ones. Staying updated on baking trends to cater to customer preferences.
Requirements:
- Experience with baking techniques and equipment.
- Attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
