Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating new programs, and good and entertaining radio presentations.
• Provide compelling and updated content daily.
• Ensuring the logbook is filled accurately daily.
• Conduct live interviews with celebrities, entertainers, and listeners.
• Make regular approved appearances at station events.
• Assist with voice-over and production of paid and non-paid spots required to run on station with approval.
• ⁠Maintain a positive and approachable attitude when around clients and listeners.
• Deliver news, sports, and/or weather reports, gathering and rewriting material to convey required information and fit specific time slots.
• Always ensure non-program failure.
• Host civic, charitable, or promotional events for broadcast on radio and television if required
• Record commercials for future broadcasts.
• Monitoring programs on other radio and television stations and updating information in weekly reports.
• Securing sponsorship and patronage monthly on individual programs.
• Creating new programs for Radio and Television quarterly.
• Be familiar with and abide by the NBC code.
• Deep research for programs done weekly and topics submitted daily.
• Give weekly reports on the job done every Friday.
• Undertake such other duties as commensurate with the grade and title of the job.

• HND/B.Sc in Communication, English, or related field.
• 2 years of work experience in broadcasting and media.
• Possesses a warm and witty on-air presence
• Excellent improvisational skills.
