Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Airbnb management business. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our Airbnb properties. This is a remote position that requires flexibility, as it extends beyond the traditional 9-5 working hours, with occasional evening and weekend availability to handle guest inquiries. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-eccentric mindset.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Airbnb properties, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Manage guest inquiries and bookings, providing timely and informative responses to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Coordinate check-ins and check-outs, including key exchanges and property inspections.
  • Handle and resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure properties are cleaned, stocked, and maintained to high standards.
  • Monitor and adjust property listings, including pricing, availability, and descriptions to maximize occupancy rates and revenue.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of property-related expenses, income, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with property owners to establish and maintain positive relationships, providing regular updates on property performance and addressing any concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with local regulations and Airbnb policies to ensure compliance and mitigate any risks.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and implement streamlined processes to enhance operational efficiency.



Requirements:

  • Experience in property management would be advantageous, preferably within the Airbnb or short-term rental industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with guests, property owners, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate guest inquiries, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with property management software and platforms (e.g., Airbnb, channel managers).
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in managing property listings, reservations, and financial records.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle guest issues and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Previous experience in remote work or virtual team collaboration is advantageous.
