We are seeking an energetic and personable Partnership Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with relevant organizations in the agriculture industry.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with industry stakeholders, NGOs, government agencies, educational institutions, and private sector players.
  • Maintain and nurture existing relationships to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to establish and strengthen partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Research and analyze potential partners to assess alignment, value, and opportunity for collaboration.
  • Provide support across various business areas, including marketing, project management, and client relations, as needed.
  • Work closely with other team members to share insights and coordinate efforts that leverage partnerships to create business value.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals that effectively communicate partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of partnership interactions, outcomes, and future opportunities.
  • Regularly report on partnership progress, successes, and challenges to the management team.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (minimum of 2 years) in building and maintaining partnerships within the agriculture industry.
  • Solid understanding of the agriculture sector, including key players, market trends, and industry challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Great personality with a positive.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment, wearing multiple hats when necessary.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Flexibility and willingness to contribute to various areas of the business as needed.
