Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor ingredient levels and order necessary supplies to maintain adequate stock.
- Properly store ingredients and baked goods to ensure freshness and quality.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Following all food safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks
- Mixing batter, shaping dough, and baking pastries according to established recipes.
- Adding finishing touches like icing, frosting, glazes, and garnishes to enhance the presentation of pastries.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Creating new pastry recipes
Requirements:
- 1 year experience
- Minimum of SSCE
