Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on cost savings and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with warehouse and inventory teams.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and transactions.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.


Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
