Job Summary
We are currently in need of a Procurement Officer to join our Procurement Department. The successful candidate be knowledgeable about local and foreign procurement and preparation of documents for local Nigeria content with NCDMB.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Senior level
- Experience Length : 5 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Kickstart the sourcing processes of all tenders and enquiries
- Gather list of sellers in line with selection processes.
- Preparation of quotations and tenders
- Send out RFQs and follow up with vendor.
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
- Lead the process of receiving supplies for Orders issued to vendors.
- Data input/data analytics and housekeeping of the Procurement Departments electronic folders.
- Edit and prepare submission templates in line with the tender’s requirement.
- Research potential vendors.
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
- To conducting clerical/administrative tasks within the Procurement Department.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- To liaise with internal customers to provide status updates on orders.
- Interact with suppliers to ensure high quality, competitive cost and on time delivery by utilizing RFI, RFP and RFQ
- Always be handy to support in any other procurement related tasks as they become available.
- Local Nigeria content document preparation.
