Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely completion of production targets.
- Oversee the quality of water production, ensuring that it meets industry standards and regulations for health and safety.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
- Manage and supervise production staff, ensuring they are well-trained and that their performance aligns with company objectives.
- Coordinate regular maintenance of production machinery to avoid downtime, and ensure the equipment is operating efficiently.
- Monitor the stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and other production inputs, ensuring timely procurement to avoid production delays.
- Ensure the production facility complies with health and safety regulations, and implement safety protocols to protect workers and equipment.
- Oversee the production budget, managing costs while meeting production goals and maintaining product quality
- Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management, analyzing productivity, costs, and areas for improvement.
- Implement and oversee waste management practices to ensure environmental compliance and minimize waste.
- Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and sales, to ensure smooth coordination across the production chain.
- Assist in the development of new products or improvements to existing products, coordinating trials and adjustments to the production process.
Requirements:
- A degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is typically required. Specific knowledge of water treatment processes is a plus.
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in the beverage, water, or food processing industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of production workers effectively
- Familiarity with production machinery, water treatment equipment, and other factory systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement timely and effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring that deadlines and production targets are met.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures, especially in food and beverage industries.
- Proficiency in production management software, MS Office, and inventory management tools.
- In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, and the ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with different departments and manage team dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring product quality and adherence to industry standards at all times.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, depending on production demands.
