Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and costs are controlled.
• Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate activities among different engineering disciplines, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
• Regularly monitor project progress, compare actual performance against the project plan, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address concerns.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all project personnel.
• Maintain detailed records of project activities, contracts, correspondence, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing the Oil & Gas industry.
• Oversee the commissioning of project components and facilitate a smooth handover to operations.

Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on project management within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and regulations related to the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven experience in successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Ability to use AutoCAD and Primavera Software.
• Ability to generate ISO and Shop drawings.
• Proven experience in fabrication and installation.
• Prove experience in Flowline and Pipeline work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with complex engineering projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and motivate project teams.
