Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure construction projects are compliant with current building codes as well as any other legal or regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate superior technical design skills and be able to create designs that are functional, creative, and sustainable
• Meet with clients and determine their design needs and requirements
• Manage design projects from concept development through to completion
• Adjust designs and plans to meet client’s needs
• Develop detailed project plans and track overall progress.
• Identify and respond to potential issues throughout the life of the project to minimize potential negative impacts and help ensure the safety of the workers
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Manage the financial plan and consistently evaluate the project budget and also keep track of spending and forecast changes to the budget
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impact on schedule and budgets.
• Coordinate development of user manual, training materials, and other document as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process.
• Obtain client sign-off of project deliverables.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in a similar position
• Degree in a related field
