Job Summary

A reputable hospitality outfit operating an exquisite resort in Lagos is looking for confident and driven sales and marketing executives, with hospitality experience, to join their growing team. The individual will be responsible for selling the resort, ensuring maximum profitability.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers and 3rd party agents to generate sales.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competence and capacity to convince and win over new customers, especially in the corporate market.
  • Network, prospect, and generate sales leads.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals for customers and negotiate terms of agreement.
  • Expedite the resolution of any customer problems and complaints and provide after-sales support
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the hospitality market, including market intelligence, competitor information, current trends, and market conditions.


Key Deliverables:

  • Oversee the promotion of the facility sales on advertisement media and listing services.
  • Meet with prospects and clients interested in the facility to offer them real deals.
  • Communicate with clients to identify their requirements and preferences.
  • Oversee the preparation and approval of documents such as contract agreements, etc.
  • Coordinate the closing of deals to ensure eventual patronage of clients.
  • Oversee arrangements to give prospective clients a view of the facility before closing deals.
  • Act as intermediaries liaising between the resort and prospective clients.
  • Conduct an inspection of the facility to ensure the terms and conditions of sales are met before closing sales deals.
  • Provide periodic reports to company management on sales operations and generated returns.
  • Conduct surveys to identify the prices of competing facilities in the hospitality market.
  • Maintain contact with clients to have openings to discuss future business prospects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or marketing, or any other related field.
  • At least 5 years of cognate experience in sales and marketing.
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Multi-lingual preferred and must also be able to confidently communicate in English
