Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and detailed plans to clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle to create personalized design solutions.
- Source and select furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Oversee the production of detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure design integrity.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and design assistants.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and innovations to continuously enhance design solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in high-end residential and/or commercial interior design.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex design projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, another relevant tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
