Our Client, a leading technology provider to the traditional and new energies industry is seeking to recruit qualified professionals to fill multiple positions. These positions plans, manages and coordinates assigned projects typically consisting of large Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation contracts. The Ideal candidates typically manages projects involving multi-sites and/or remote installation locations. Monitors, executes and control key support functions and manufacturing resources to meet scheduled shipments in a quality and cost-effective manner. A subject matter expert within the functional teams providing insight and possibly supervision to work teams comprised of various skill levels. Responsible for ensuring product quality for the product line. Identifying problems and providing solutions.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Project planning and management:

  • Manages the detail technical schedule and financial performance of the project to deliver a quality product, on time and at the lowest achievable cost. Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer after the sale as assigned
  • Builds and maintains relationship with customer and other suppliers associated with the Project. Preliminary planning of project work to consist of developing and communicating schedules, allocating assets, and attending pre-job meeting with the project teams to understand requirements. Participates in the quotation process and provides project management related information such as schedules and budgets. Project execution, inclusive of monitoring and tracking baseline schedules comparatively to actual


Project Engineering- Lead systems:

  • Uses commercially available FEA and/or CFD software. May pre-process and post-process on local workstations and launch multi-processor runs on high performance computing cluster. Participates in engineering solutions as part of a project taskforce, in accordance with company standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.  Technical support may be required during Tender Preparation, EPC Project Execution, Services Onshore/ Offshore Activity Execution
  • Verify designs where necessary using classical analysis techniques (bending, buckling, shear, bearing, and pressure vessel). Present designs to engineering staff during internal design review; prepare and/or review BOMs, documents and drawings.  Selecting raw materials, coatings, and quality requirements as necessary. Support product lifecycle from sales, tendering, system, and product design through to service and aftermarket support.


QA/QC:

  • Responsible for ensuring product quality for the product line. Identifying problems and providing solutions. Receives direction from manager to set broad objectives.
  • Consistently and clearly demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding solutions to multi‐faceted or time sensitive problems.
  • Over 80% of product is outsourced, so position is critical to establishing and maintaining successful of source surveillance programs with global reach as well as supplier improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 8 years’ mechanical, electronic and/or hydraulic related experience in an oilfield equipment environment (particularly subsea production hardware)
  • Capable of solving technical issues with coaching. Knowledgeable in how changes influences system engineering cost. Capable of leading teamwork. Capable of leading internal meetings.
  • Project Manager roles: Completion of PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management techniques and standards
