Job Overview
As a Senior Sales Development Executive you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, managing leads through the sales pipeline, and setting up our sales closers for success. In addition, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of sales development representatives.
As the first line of communication with the company’s prospects, the ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the sales process and will excel at researching and qualifying leads, starting new relationships, and showcasing the company’s offerings to prospects in a
persuasive way.
Job Responsibilities
● Generate leads and manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects to create new business opportunities for the company.
● Build nurturing relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
● Move solid leads through the funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
● Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
● Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
● Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase our services.
● Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead-generation playbook.
● Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
● Attend networking events and tradeshows to build relationships and generate leads.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field.
● Minimum 7-8 years of experience as a sales development representative, with a proven track record of exceeding lead targets and sales quota.
● Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential customers.
● Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
● Strong problem-solving, negotiation skills, and analytical skills.
● Strong people management skills.
● Time management and organizational skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● A desire to learn and grow within the sales organization.
