We are looking for a talented and proactive Social Media Content Creator and Manager to develop, run, and grow the social media presence of our brand. The ideal candidate will embody creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to create visually stunning, engaging content while managing day-to-day social media operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm and propose unique content ideas aligned with the company's branding.
  • Research trends in interior design, home styling, and DIY projects to inspire engaging content.
  • Create high-quality photos, videos, reels, and carousels for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Design graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Edit videos for social media with apps like CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere Pro.
  • Craft compelling captions, scripts, and narratives to complement visuals.
  • Maintain a consistent aesthetic across all posts (colors, fonts, themes, and overall style).
  • Plan and execute a monthly content calendar with specific goals for engagement and growth.
  • Respond to comments and DMs promptly in a warm and professional tone.
  • Host live sessions, Q&A features, and polls to grow and engage the audience.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (e.g., reach, and engagement rates).
  • Use insights to adjust strategies and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with influencers or complementary brands to increase visibility.
  • Implement strategies like giveaways or challenges to boost follower growth.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends and tools.
  • Research and recommend potential collaborations or sponsorship opportunities.
  • Occasionally assist with styling or photographing spaces/products.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management or content creation (portfolio required).
  • Strong eye for design, color, and aesthetics.
  • Experience producing content for creative/lifestyle brands is a plus.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar).
  • Experience using scheduling tools like Later, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
  • Understanding of algorithms, engagement strategies, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to write engaging, error-free captions and scripts.
  • Ability to portray Tinuke’s desired image and voice authentically.
  • Strong project management skills to keep the content calendar on track.
  • Proactive, creative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working closely with Tinuke and external collaborators.
  • A passion for interior design, creativity, and the home improvement industry.
  • Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook management tools.
  • Analytics tools like Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social.
