Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, provide assistance, and offer product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Support: Assist customers with purchases, handle payments and card transactions, and process returns or exchanges when necessary.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with products at all times. Arrange displays and ensure merchandise is properly tagged.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, receive deliveries, and restock shelves as needed. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store Manager.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the store’s merchandise, including new arrivals and promotions, to offer informed advice to customers.
- Security and Loss Prevention: Monitor customer behavior to prevent theft and ensure the safety of products and assets in the store.
- Reporting: Provide daily sales reports and feedback to the Store Manager, including customer preferences and product trends.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and support management in achieving sales targets.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and retail software.
- A keen eye for detail, especially in maintaining store displays and managing inventory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
