Storekeeper

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all materials and equipment using inventory control systems, including stock cards.
• Issue and receive materials and equipment, ensuring proper documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder materials when necessary to avoid shortages.
• Unload and organize incoming deliveries, ensuring correct quantities and conditions of goods.
• Perform regular inventory audits and checks to ensure consistency and accuracy of stock levels.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently in designated storage areas.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth operations and effective inventory control.
• Prepare reports on stock levels, usage, and reorder management needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures within the store.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory control and management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using stock cards or other inventory tracking tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
