Supply Chain Officer

Responsibilities:

• Use IT systems/Sage to record and manage stock levels
• Counts items for transfer according to company procedures and develops and maintains a stock record system.
• Tracking products to ensure they arrive at their destination
• Liaise with Commercial for truck availability to ensure timely delivery of stock.
• Assist in inventory management activities including receiving, storing, rotating and handling supplies in warehouse.
• Discuss the allocation of goods with the GRM for better logistical operations.
• Prepare and package goods (palletizing, shrink wrapping, boxing) for transferring goods to the stores according to the BP for Goods Transfers.
• Load the goods which are destined for the stores efficiently and without causing damage.
• Load and check goods transferred from the stores on quality, box-content and volumes meticulously.
• Perform workload assignments and provide assistance to the Goods receiver from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of OND
• At least a year experience in warehousing, storage, retail administration or supply chain
• IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data
• Strong sense of accuracy with numbers and quality
• Strong administration skills
• Disciplined and a keen eye for details
• Strong logistical and organizational skills
