Our client is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Technical Director to oversee and manage civil engineering projects, including roads, buildings, bridges, and infrastructure construction. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure project efficiency, compliance, and quality control.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple civil engineering projects across the country, ensuring timely execution and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for road, building, bridge, and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to local and international engineering standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Supervise engineering teams, subcontractors, and site operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Review and approve project designs, construction plans, and technical reports.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures on all projects.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure the company maintains all necessary certifications and regulatory compliance.
- Optimize resource allocation, budgeting, and procurement for projects.
- Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in road, building, bridge, and infrastructure construction.
- Certifications: Registered as a Practicing Engineer with a recognized engineering body. Safety Certifications related to construction and project management. Other relevant civil engineering design, consulting, and construction certifications.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software and engineering design tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel and oversee multiple projects across the country.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government contracts or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Advanced knowledge of environmental impact assessment and sustainability in civil engineering.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
