The Vendor Acquisition Associate will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and vendors. The role will be responsible for identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement strategies are both inventive and cost-effective.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the organization.
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and ongoing to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Keep a growing pool of vendors and products (locally and internationally)
- Manage the Stock master list for effective pricing and cost management
- Ensure timely stock pickup/availability
- Keep a growing list of vendors to be onboarded (pipeline)
- Prioritize Blue-chip vendors in commercial planning engagement
- Liaise with the Technology and marketing team on Campaigns for Vendor stock sell-out
- Product and process SOP development with the Ops team to ensure proper management of stock delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Chemistry background or considerable related experience).
- At least 3 years experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- A person of high integrity.
- Must be a good team player.
- Must be flexible.
- Creative problem-solving skills
