Video Editor/Storyteller

Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate is a team player and an imaginative editor with a keen eye for creating videos that evoke emotions. You'll get to wear many hats, creating content across various channels, including:

Documentary Films:

• Dive deep into compelling stories and narratives that captivate audiences.
• Conduct thorough research and collaborate closely with teams to bring impactful documentaries to life.
• Use your editing skills to weave together footage, interviews, and archival material into cohesive and engaging films that resonate with viewers.

Reels for Instagram Channels:

• Stay at the forefront of social media trends and create short, snappy videos that grab attention.
• Adapt to different tones and styles to cater to diverse audiences on Instagram.
• Experiment with creative formats and storytelling techniques to produce shareable content that enhances our brand and client's presence.

Advert Videos:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and target audiences.
• Conceptualize and storyboard compelling narratives that effectively convey key messages and brand values
• Utilize your editing skills to craft visually appealing and persuasive videos that drive engagement and conversions.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and/or CapCut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
