Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Washer to join our laundry and dry cleaning team. The Washer will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various garments and textiles, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items into washing machines and dryers.
- Operate and maintain washing machines, dryers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Pre-treat stains and inspect items for cleanliness and quality.
- Follow specific washing instructions for different types of fabrics and garments.
- Ensure proper handling and care of delicate and specialty items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Assist with folding, ironing, and packaging of cleaned items as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
