Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Measure and mix ingredients with precision, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and quality.
- Decorate cakes and pastries creatively, with attention to detail and customer specifications (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized baking station and ensure all equipment is used safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, and report needs in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and baking protocols.
- Test new recipes and contribute creative ideas for seasonal or specialty baked items.
- Manage baking schedules to meet daily production targets and ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
- Collaborate with the kitchen or pastry team to plan for events, large orders, or custom baking requests.
- Stay updated with trends in baking and pastry arts to bring fresh, innovative items to the menu.
Requirements:
- Available to work 40 hours per week
- Proven experience as a baker especially in bread and cake baking
- Creativity in Cake decoration is a plus
