We seek a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our educational consulting firm, you will drive business growth, foster and maintain strong client relationships, and expand our presence in the educational sector.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the educational sector, including partnerships with schools, institutions, and educational technology providers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives specific to the educational consulting industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities in the education sector.
  • Utilize strategic methods to generate leads and initiate conversations with potential clients, focusing on educational institutions and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development initiatives that align with the firm's goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and profiles to clients, highlighting the firm's offerings and unique value proposition.
  • Negotiate, follow up, and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with clients and partners in the education industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and market conditions to make informed business decisions and maintain a competitive edge.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Business Development, preferably in the Educational sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Lagos Consulting market and trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
