Job Summary
We are looking for a Chef to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, setting menus, and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared promptly. Also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations.
- Minimum Qualification : HND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Cooking.
- Create recipes and gather all necessary ingredients.
- Work efficiently with kitchen staff.
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.
- Inform wait staff about daily specials.
- Ensure appealing plate presentation.
- Supervise Cooks and assist as needed.
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests.
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Apply the first-in first-out principle.
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Requirements:
- OND/HND in any related field
- 3-6 years experience as a chef
- Good written and oral communication skill.
