Job Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated and creative Operations and Business Development Manager to manage The Olive Shop. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and strategic direction of the business. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, lead business development initiatives, and come up with strategic ways to scale the company

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Lead marketing and promotional efforts to increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the founder on production and product development.
  • Analyze business performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and participate in industry events, pop up markets, trade shows, and networking activities.
  • Provide leadership and support to the team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Develop and manage customer loyalty programs to increase client retention.
  • Implement operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and product availability.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of business initiatives.
  • Work on brand positioning and messaging to enhance the company's image.
  • Develop partnerships with other brands and businesses to expand market reach.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management, business development, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Experience in the beauty or wellness industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using business management software and tools.
