Job Description/Requirements

  • Manage and drive sales performance for the entire portfolio of MvNO voice, data, and VAS products and services in the Nigerian market.
  • Provide leadership in sales strategy formulation to drive optimal sales and revenue potential of the business.
  • Develop and manage relationships with both new and existing clients to drive business sustainability over the long term.
  • Manage key internal, industry, and regulatory relationships to promote Routelink’s brand positioning in the market.
  • Lead and provide direction for the MvNO Strategic Accounts team with responsibility for product strategy, best customer experience, employee engagement & overall business cum commercial strategy for the MvNO portfolio.
  • Develop and periodically review the MvNO strategic sales plan to achieve sustainable VAS subscription, data volume, and minutes of user growth.
  • Implement robust internal processes to ensure formulated strategies and plans are delivering on sales numbers and revenue.
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers to drive the penetration of MvNO services across key market demographics, segments, and sectors.
  • Attend industry-relevant events, and socialize with major accounts at C-level/senior levels through executive interaction.
  • Adopt cost avoidance practices as required to ensure healthy margins and own the contract negotiation process to deliver sustained business performance.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to all the teams that constitute the strategic account department to promote high employee engagement levels.
  • Prepare timely sales and revenue forecasts and develop management reports to measure business performance against objectives.
  • Define and Implement sales management processes spanning proposal development, sales pipeline, forecast, tracking, bid management, etc.
  • Recruit, motivate, and manage the performance of a Senior strategic account sales team to ensure business targets are achieved.
