Job Summary

As a Head of Business, you are responsible for spearheading the growth of businesses by sourcing and securing Travel accounts to increase the profitability of the organization totaling billions of Naira in profit as well as develop and implementing strategies to further improve profitability and brand awareness.

  • Experience Length : 7 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new customers and also ensure their profitability is maintained
  • Actively contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company
  • Supervise the call plan of both the Sales & Operations team
  • Identify potential Corporate Clients, assess their creditworthiness, and target them for closure within a set timeframe
  • Provide accurate forecasts and ensure that all subsidiary’s targets are met
  • Develop, Establish, and Enforce goals, as well as, policies & procedures for Travelden
  • Conduct weekly/monthly sales meetings and training
  • Deal with clients’ complaints as a matter of urgency following company policy
  • Define KRAs for your team in sync with the annual target provided for Travelden.
  • Acquire Large Multinational Corporate Accounts and handle hardcore negotiations
  • Stay updated with recent market/industry trends, competitors & leading customer strategies
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly report
  • Setting out a long-term, strategic marketing vision for the company in line with growth objectives
  • Analyze customer research, the market, and competitor data and make recommendations that drive the growth of the brand
  • Leading all marketing activities and measuring performance through developing appropriate marketing metrics
  • Maintaining, developing, and researching potential new strategic relationships within the sector to help drive the growth of the brand
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine the effectiveness
  • Create a succession planning scheme for all supervisory roles in Travelden
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • First Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or Professional membership/certification is an added advantage.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in a similar role, with 4 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in the travel industry is an added advantage
