Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals according to the Chairman's preferences, dietary restrictions, and nutritional requirements.
- Create diverse and balanced menus to ensure a variety of meals over time.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance the quality of meals.
- Coordinate with the Chairman to understand his preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Consider factors such as allergies, cultural preferences, and health considerations when planning meals.
- Manage grocery budgets efficiently and shop for meal supplies as well as kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Pay attention to the presentation of meals to ensure they are aesthetically pleasing
- Manage kitchen inventory, including utensils, cookware, and appliances.
- Attend to any other domestic duties that may be assigned by the Chairman from time to time.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the Chairman's schedule or preferences.
- Handle last-minute requests or changes gracefully.
- Demonstrate discretion in all matters related to the Chairman's personal and professional life.
- Provide updates and reports to the Chairman as needed
Requirements:
- 3 years experience as a chef
- OND/HND/BSc. is the minimum requirement to apply for this role
- A catering or culinary certificate is an added advantage.
