Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Authentic Indian Dishes: Cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, dosas, and traditional Indian bread.
- Menu Development: Create and design new menus and daily specials that showcase a balance of traditional and modern Indian flavors.
- Ingredient Sourcing and Inventory Management: Ensure high-quality, authentic ingredients are sourced and maintained. Manage kitchen inventory, track stock, and place orders when necessary.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of teamwork and performance.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in the kitchen, ensuring that the kitchen meets all health and safety standards.
- Cost Management: Monitor food costs and optimize resources to meet budgetary requirements
- Special Diets: Accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
