Job Summary
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team with food preparation, inventory management, washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Your efforts will help ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, allowing our chefs to create exceptional dishes for our guests.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food and ingredients, following chefs' instructions and ensuring high-quality standards.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following strict health and safety standards.
- Assist in washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools.
- Organize and store ingredients and supplies properly to ensure easy access and prevent waste.
- Help with food plating and presentation as needed.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ensuring items are properly stored.
- Support the chefs with various kitchen duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a kitchen assistant or in a similar role within a boutique hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils.
