Job Summary

We are seeking to hire an exceptional and hardworking Kitchen steward to be responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
  • Properly dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with hotel policies and hygiene regulations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and refrigerators to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking cleaning supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Steward or in a similar role.
  • Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP or equivalent).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with other kitchen staff.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination.
