Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our growing team in Abuja. The successful candidate will be a key member of the kitchen brigade, assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations at our second branch, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 4 years
  • Working Hours : Rotating Schedule

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Monitor food costs and inventory levels.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
  • Supervise and guide the work of line cooks, prep cooks, and other kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Resolve any operational issues that may arise during service.


Requirements:

  • 4 years experience
  • Degree in a related field
