Trained Chef

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to our restaurant's standards and recipes.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
• Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into your cooking.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef, with formal culinary training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary school certification or equivalent experience is required.
