Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Baking: Prepare doughs, batters, and other mixtures according to recipes and baking procedures. Bake and finish products such as bread, pastries, and cakes.
- Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes and production processes to ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, and taste. Make adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Order and replenish stock as needed to avoid shortages.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, and dough sheeters
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
