Barista

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, smoothies, and other beverages to salon clients.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Offer clients a selection of light snacks or bakery items, ensuring proper food handling and hygiene.
• Provide personalized service by engaging with clients and accommodating special requests for beverages.
• Keep the barista station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in tracking inventory of coffee, tea, and other supplies, and report when stock needs to be replenished.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed, including food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Promote salon beverages and snacks, upselling when possible to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with the salon staff to create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
• Handle payments and process transactions using the salon's POS system.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage clients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and an understanding of specialty coffee trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Attention to detail, ensuring beverages are prepared to the highest standard.
• A passion for coffee and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
