Bartender

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers in a timely manner.
• Understand and execute drink recipes accurately, including classic cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
• Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.
• Handle cash, process payments, and balance the cash register at the end of shifts.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area for special events or peak periods.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and cohesive team environment.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of proven experience as a bartender or in a related field.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, and bar equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong cash-handling skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Relevant certifications for alcohol service (if required by local regulations).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is a plus.
