Experienced Chef

Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Create and innovate new menu items while ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, to meet the restaurant’s standards.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maximize profitability.
• Quality Control: Ensure all food served meets the restaurant's high standards of quality and taste
• Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and make adjustments to the menu or cooking methods as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary practices and cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and willingness to experiment with new culinary trends.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or a related field is a plus.
