Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure food is cooked properly and meets quality expectations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Must be able to multi task
- Managing inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Minimizing waste and controlling food costs.
- Keeping kitchen equipment clean and well - maintained
- Communicating with servers and front - of - house staff to ensure smooth service
- Experimenting with new recipes nd improving menu offerings.
- Creating and updating menus based on seasonality and customer preferences.
- Considering dietary restrictions and special requests
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts will be an added advantage.
- 2 years experience as a chef, or cook.
- Hands on experience with various cooking techniques.
- Attention to detail and passion for cooking.
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Residing around Ajah axis is an added advantage.
