Job Summary
The Sous Chef is a key member of the culinary team, responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations. This role requires strong leadership, culinary skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus
- Produce high-quality plates both design and taste-wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule, and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar high-volume kitchen role.
- Strong culinary skills, including knife skills, cooking techniques, and food preparation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for food and a commitment to excellence.
