Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes (e.g., meats, seafood, vegetables) and fried items to perfection.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menu offerings focused on grills and fries.
- Monitor inventory levels for grilling and frying ingredients and equipment.
- Operate and maintain grilling and frying equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Report any equipment issues promptly to the maintenance teams.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards as per regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and ensure proper handling of food and utensils.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Head Chef or management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef specializing in grills and fries, with a portfolio of dishes.
- Strong knowledge of grilling and frying techniques, seasoning, and plating.
- Ability to handle high-pressure kitchen environments and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
